Prioris combines the age-old history, the smells, the tastes and the ancient memories of life on the farm. Red wine of great structure, represents the essence of Masseria Cicella's production.
Color: dark ruby red, tending to garnet with increasing aging in steel and bottle.
Perfume: ethereal, fragrant and rich notes distinguish this wide and enveloping wine, which unfolds shades of hints of cherry in spirit, sea jam, blueberries and currants.
Taste: firm, dry, warm and complex, intense and concentrated, featuring a powerful fruit structure, summed up with delicious and exuberant tannins that release a hint of cocoa and licorice finish.
Serving Suggestions
Unparalleled with first courses of ragu, pork stew, tripe rolls and roast meat. Excellent also with medium seasoning cheeses. It is a wine that also exalts itself alone in cold and winter days.
